Plain-language privacy

Privacy Policy

Rift Archive is a static information site with no account system, comment form, advertising tag, or newsletter signup. Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity are disabled during the current controlled production acceptance period.

Effective and last updated

Information you submit

The site itself does not ask for a name, email address, Riot account, password, payment detail, or gameplay profile. Do not submit sensitive or private information through the public correction tracker.

Cookies, analytics, and local storage

The site plans to use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity after analytics is formally enabled. Those services may use cookies or similar technologies and may process page visits, browser and device information, page interactions, and basic usage information. During the current controlled acceptance period, the site does not load either GA4 or Clarity.

If analytics is enabled later, the implementation will be limited to the production hostname and the providers' own data handling and privacy terms will apply. This policy will be reviewed when that change occurs.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel and its network providers may process routine request data such as IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent, device or browser information, and security events to deliver and protect the site. Their own policies and retention practices apply to that processing.

External links

The guide links to Riot Games, Tencent, YouTube, and other first-party references. Following a link takes you to that service, where its own privacy terms apply. Rift Archive does not control those external services.

Children and game accounts

Rift Archive does not operate League accounts or collect age information. Account, eligibility, parental-control, and game-service questions should be handled through the relevant official Riot or Tencent support channel.

Policy changes and questions

Material privacy changes will be dated on this page. No public question or correction channel is enabled during controlled acceptance. A non-sensitive contact method will be added before indexing is enabled.
